Although this isn't what the balm is used for, it works well because it doesn't dry too quickly but it holds the shape very well. For added shine I then took TONI&GUY Radiating Tropical Oil, and added it to the ends. Yes they still look fried but I damaged my hair beyond the point of return. Oopsies.
